Bio:

Herro is one of the best shooters in this draft, if not thee best. In his lone season at Kentucky he knocked down free throws at a ridiculous rate of 93.5% and also shot 36% from 3 point range. But Herro is not just a shooter and is a true 3 and D player even with his underwhelming length at just a 6’4″ wingspan. Some weaknesses of his are getting to the basket and getting his own shot but there is definitely value in the middle of the first round to select Herro. He does have decent athleticism and improved a lot at Kentucky throughout the season.

NBA Comparison: Richard Hamilton

Hamilton’s game was very similar to Herro and both are about the same size, 6’6″ and skinny at about 190. Hamilton was also a very gifted shooter at the free throw line and three point line. While Herro and Hamilton don’t have the elite athleticism to take their man to the hoop every play, they both can score in a variety of different ways and Herro will be an effective scorer in the league.
