Bio:

LaMelo Ball is one of the most interesting and hyped prospects in quite a while. His story has been heavily documented since he was just a Freshman in high school. Since then, he has played professionally in Lithuania as a 16 year old, played in the JBA league for 18-20 year old players, and then most recently played in the NBL in Australia, which many say is the second best league in the world. LaMelo started off quiet in the NBL but had back to back triple doubles and a 32 point game while providing many highlights along the way. He may be the most talented prospect in this draft, as he is a 6-8 point guard who is a tremendous playmaker and passer as well as scorer.

NBA Comparison: Lonzo ball / Jamal Crawford

To break down LaMelo into a comparison we have to go no further than his brother Lonzo combined with the game of Jamal Crawford. Imagine all of Lonzo Ball’s strengths as a defender and passer and then combine that with the offensive game of Crawford where he can break down his opponent to get to the hoop or hit a tough shot with the ability to get 30 points every night. Although, LaMelo is more pass first similar to Lonzo and he looks to be a better shooter.
