James Wiseman has tremendous size and athleticism. In just 3 games before his suspension at Memphis he averaged 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks in just 23 minutes per game while shooting 77% from the field. In his first year in the NBA he will make an immediate impact on defense as one of the biggest players in the league he will be a dominant rim protector. Wiseman can also run the floor getting transition buckets and has the ability to also become a dominant offensive force especially if he develops a jump shot.

NBA Comparison: Dwight Howard or Anthony davis

Wiseman’s game is very similar to that of a younger Dwight Howard when he was at the peak of his athleticism where he was the most feared basket protector and was also dominant on the post. If Wiseman develops a jump shot he could be an even more dominant player type turning into an Anthony Davis MVP candidate player. His game has some work to get the point of Anthony Davis but Wiseman has tons of talent and could end up being the best player from this draft.
