Bio:

Edwards made a name fore himself in the NCAA Tournament knocking down an absurd amount of threes in Purdue’s tourney run. Including 10 threes vs a tough loss to Virginia where he ended with 42 points for the second time in the tournament. He wasn’t completely off scout’s radars before this however, due to the fact he averaged 24 ppg over his junior season. Edwards size and age will hurt his draft stock a bit but expect him to get picked late in the first round. He is a perfect player to come off of the bench and get 15-20 minutes a game in the NBA and knock down big shots while supplying offense and energy.

NBA Comparison: Eddie House / Mo Williams

Edwards has a super similar game to Eddie House and would be perfect in a role such as he played. For those of you who don’t remember House, he would come in the game and instantly provide energy for his team by knocking down back to back threes or making a hustle play to get a layup. With Edwards not being a great playmaker or assist man, he will play a lot of combo guard where he doesn’t always need the ball. Mo Williams is about the ceiling for Edwards as he is a big shot getter and a shooting guard in a point guards body.
