| Jaxson Hayes | 6-11 | 220 | PF/C | Texas | Fr. |
Bio:
Hayes did not get much recognition this season but also didn’t play huge minutes. However, he could be exactly what a lot of teams need right now, a really good complimentary big man who runs the floor, blocks shots, doesn’t need the ball to be effective and shoots high percentage. When we say high percentages we mean it: 73% from the field and 74% from free throw at Texas.
NBA Comparison: Jarret Allen
We hate to compare him to the guy he replaced at Texas but it is pretty spot on. Both are very athletic rim protectors and finishers who run the court well. Allen even shot similar percentages in his last season with the Nets as Hayes did at his lone year at Texas. Once Hayes fills out a little more his game will look identical to Allen on the court
